One Night Culinary Events

Meals this wonderful only happen ONCE. Elaborate, multi-course, locavore and themed dinner parties, coming soon to somewhere near you.

We really love to cook for people.  Whether it is for a little group or a big one, we approach each meal we create as a individual project, a work of art to be encouraged, and each event is absolutely its own.  We are available to do what we do for you, and if you are considering a personal chef or caterer for a party, you are encouraged to talk to us about what you need.  If we are not the right team for the job we will try to help you find someone who is.

Sometimes we just want to cook.  When we do, and it can be just about anywhere, and anytime, for any reason, we call that a ONCE, or a One Night Culinary Event.  We tell people and they come to dine.

Each event features the best food we can find grown and raised as near to our location as possible. Each ONCE is different and seasonally appropriate. They happen randomly, sometimes at very short notice, when and where it makes sense for them to happen. At each dinner we create a one night, all local gourmet 'restaurant' where we treat you to multiple courses prepared from the freshest, most healthy and local ingredients we can find.

There is an appropriate minimum suggested contribution, per person, for ONCEs, and the cost of each ONCE is based on the expense of producing a healthy meal from local and organic ingredients and serving it to you in style. (This is something we do for love, not money, but we cannot do it for free, no matter how we wish we could!)

We often welcome kids to kid-appropriate ONCEs. Ruby and Oliver wouldn’t have it ANY other way!

I publish dates, locations and menus as the events are planned, usually about 2 weeks in advance. Reservations are taken by email and phone with a deposit by check or Paypal, as arranged.
