Happy August, we are dreaming of picnics, and here is the menu for the Omnivore share this week, reflecting our dreams:

Menu - August 6, 2012

Fancy Sandwich Meats:
Beef Tenderloin and PorkLoin rubbed with garlic scapes and onion, salt, parsley

Braised Lamb Pasta:
Lamb shanks, pasta, garlic scape and arugula pesto, heavy cream, milk, plum tomato, onion, toasted garlic, piave cheese, salt

Italian Wedding Soup:
Italian Sausage "meatballs" (sausage, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, garlic, onion, oregano) beef and chicken stock, onion, garlic, carrots, zucchini, tomato, kale, turnip         greens, salt

Beet and Potato Salad:
Beets, potatoes, green onion, eggs, safflower oil, mustard oil, cider vinegar, salt, pepper, parsley

Grilled Cabbage Wedge Salad
Red and Green cabbage, Buttermilk Ranch Dressing (buttermilk, yogurt, cilantro, parsley, dill, garlic, onion, salt) and bacon

Cucumber Green Goddess Salad
Cucumbers, Radishes, onion, parsley, safflower oil, cider vinegar, tarragon, garlic, salt, scallion

Melon/Feta Salad
Melons, Feta cheese, basil

Garlicky Zucchini Stew
Zucchini, garlic, salt, pepper, butter

Roasted Peaches
Peaches, butter, cane sugar
