ONCE de los Muertos II
Sure, your Halloween plans are on lockdown, but man can not subsist on candy corn alone.
And so the gypsy cooks of Cuisine en Locale are cooking up an all-local
"MassMex" Mariachi fiesta
Friday, November 2 at 6pm at the Center for Arts at the Armory in Somerville.
Because the dead can’t eat – only smell (the ultimate sense memory) – there will be plenty of Taza chocolate chicken mole, tomatillo Stillman pork verde, handmade tortillas, Ocean Ave Pops corn paletas, Slumbrew cerveza and other ofrendas for the living to fiesta upon. Skeletal servers will sate you before you hit the dancefloor with Mariachi Estampa de America – Somerville's premiere DotD party band. Giveaways from KitchenSurfing for best costume are just icing on the sugar skull.
$45 for tastetastic locavore feasting and mariachi dancing. Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more info on group rates and student discounts. Reservations are required and limited. Cash bar. Get your tickets here!
