Sorry New York and San Francisco, we're ahead of you on the eating local front this time. According to Food 52, these pilot cities are about to test out a new program called People Powered Farmers Markets from Farmigo in which customers log into an online marketplace to create a customized local food order, which gets delivered to their hoods. But guess who's ahead of the game? Our dearest Stillman Farms, who've long since been offering CSA to Go, allowing Boston-area locavores to create a customized order of produce, meat, dairy, and more. Stillman’s drives it in from Hardwick; Metro Pedal Power delivers to your door. Of course, we also think our all-local meal delivery CSA is a rather innovative way to eat local, the easy way.
