Jack Carr
I, Jack Carr was born before you could get TV in your home. I don’t know how to attach links to things and also don’t know how to attach photos. I can answer the phone and turn on a TV now. I learned to cook from my dad. He cooked all his life in the military and in for profit restaurants in the Boston area. The first cooking job that I had was in a test kitchen in Lowell MA for Prince Spaghetti. I was 14 and it was 1957 I think. We would make different Italian dishes and blast freeze them. A few weeks later we would defrost them and see how they tasted. We would adjust recipes and seasonings until we thought we had a winner. I love to cook and have done it for pay and also just for the love of it for 52 years. I really am interested in the locavore aspect of food but really like to cook Indonesian and Mexican food too. If you want photos and more info look for me on Facebook. Oh, I also worked for Rebecca Caras in the late 70′s. We had restaurants, catered events, and did all the cooking for Mayor Kevin White of Boston. I have served Gerald Ford and the Queen of Denmark. I am 66 years old and am still learning from the young people that I am cooking with now. JJ, Jen, Trevor, and the whole gang. thank you for a great experience. I look forward to many O.N.C.E. nights.
Rest in Peace Jack, We miss you all the time......love you forever.
